Company History
TDI has provided product safety guidance to food manufacturers and warehousemen for nearly 25 years. The firm was fully incorporated in 1990 by Mike Holcomb, the founder and corporate president. A brief profile of Mike and his professional activities includes the following:
. . . earned his MSc degree in Entomology from Texas A&M University;
. . . is a former Associate Entomologist with the Okumura Biological Institute;
. . . publishes numerous articles in pest control and quality assurance trade journals;
. . . frequently speaks at state and national pest control and food safety conferences;
. . . provides training and confidential advice to food processors concerning integrated pest management, GMPs, sanitation and cleaning, sanitary equipment and facilities design, and other HACCP prerequisite programs; and finally,
. . . conducts insect package penetration research for food processors, investigates consumer complaints, and has served as an expert witness in several food infestation disputes.
